Chiropractic Care
We offer a variety of different treatment options customized to each patients individual needs. Utilizing our pneumatic tables that increase efficiency without the harsh force, we are able to offer our patients a more comfortable experience.
Drop Table Adjustment
A drop table adjustment is a technique where a special table with sections that can lift up and down slightly is used to gently move the vertebrae back into the correct position. This method aims to relieve pain related to the spine and improve the range of motion. It is safe, noninvasive, and can be very useful for issues in the LS junction and SI joint in the lower back.
We incorporate the Thompson Technique which is a method that uses a segmented drop table to adjust the spine and treat a variety of conditions. It is a system of analysis that checks leg length to determine where in the spine misalignments exist. Once the adjustment is done the leg length is rechecked to confirm proper realignment has been achieved. The technique was developed by Dr. Clay Thompson in 1955 and is based on Newton's First Law of Motion.
Activator Adjustment
An activator chiropractic adjustment is a type of spinal manipulation which a specialized hand-held device is used to deliver a specific impulse to the spine. The force is applied at several different points along the spine to release stuck joints. Unlike traditional manual manipulation of the spine by a practitioner’s hands, the activator adjustment does not require twisting or sudden force.
It is commonly used for neck pain, lower back pain, headaches, sciatica, and joint pain. It also can be used to improve range of motion and reduce inflammation as well as helping out with balance and coordination.
Manual Adjustment
A Manual Chiropractic Adjustment is a type of manual therapy used to manipulate the spine, neck, and joints. We use it to reduce pain while bringing balance to the body’s musculoskeletal system. It is non-invasive, drug-free treatment that involves realigning the bones of the spine or manipulating the soft tissues.
Torque Release Technique (TRT)
This method is non invasive as it gently corrects subluxation or spinal misalignments. Instead physically manipulating the joints, TRT encourages the body to naturally heal itself. It is a fully neurological treatment. The main benefits of this technique is to allow the body to heal itself naturally with minimal force having the nervous system correct itself. This in turn will cause your spine to eventually realign itself healing it and other ailments will follow.
